Each month, Early Learning Resource Centers are asked to nominate an early learning program for accomplishments they’ve recently made to spotlight on the PA’s Promise for Children website.
The following provider was nominated by their Early Learning Resource Center for the month of April 2019.
Provider: Corry Alliance Child Care and Learning Center, Erie County
The Early Learning Resource Center nominated Corry Alliance because of all the hard work the Director, Jillian Wallace, has done, along with her staff.
Jillian was promoted to director this past summer. This was a fast turn around and she had little training on her new job responsibilities.
During this transition, it was time for the program’s designation. Jillian worked diligently to ensure she was ready for the next tasks at hand. When it came to designation, she only needed one or two things, which she promptly completed and handed in the same day.
Each time the ELRC staff calls on Jillian, she is quick to respond and submit items that are needed. Her center is a greater place because of her efforts.
