For the past two years, my son has benefited from a program at the YMCA Forks Education Center called PA Pre-K Counts.
This state funded program has helped my son academically, socially, and emotionally. Without this program, he would not have the necessary skills he currently possesses to enter kindergarten in the fall.
Not only has my son benefited, but I have as well, by volunteering my time at events, becoming involved with the class, and taking offered parenting workshops. Early childhood education and parent involvement shapes the path to a lifetime of successful learning.
