Jacob’s mom, Brooke, shares how he lights up a room. The family participates in the Parents as Teachers program.
Jacob lights up a room…when he chooses! He has a sense of humor that can catch you off guard and a twinkle in his eye that lets him off the hook when it shouldn’t. He now talks in a way that most wouldn’t know he had a delay. We have been lucky to have the support of our parent educator to give ideas and a listening ear during Jacob’s last three years. We are also very appreciative of fun ideas she gives during the pandemic that help us think outside of the box and keep us busy.
Our dream for Jacob is that he grows up to be a kind, caring, compassionate human who helps to make the world a better place.
