ECE Caucus Press Event Celebrates 2014 PA’s Promise Month

In celebration of Pennsylvania’s Promise for Children Month, members of the Early Childhood Education Caucus joined families from across the state to speak out in support of quality early learning opportunities for Pennsylvania’s children at a press event in the Capitol on October 8, 2014. The thing that’s important for us to recognize is for the challenges of our at-risk children, we already know what works,” stated Senator Pat Browne (R-Lehigh), co-chair of the Early Childhood Education Caucus. “It’s already been identified, it’s already been substantiated. A child that’s given access to quality early education programs is able to develop their skills and enter first grade and advance through their education years ready to learn and succeed.
