My son has found his voice in PA Pre-K Counts

February 9th, 2017
Allegheny County, Stories

Through this PA Pre-K Counts program my son has not only made friends, he has found his voice. Before coming to Ms. Kim’s room, he said almost nothing. After just a few short months, he has such a large vocabulary and is learning more words every day!

We will forever be grateful for this program and the teachers.

Aubree is more confident because of PA Pre-K Counts

The program helped my daughter, Aubree, be more confident about learning. She comes home every day and loves to tell me all the new things she has learned and about all her friends.

PA Pre-K Counts is a good experience

Allegheny County, Stories

My child has had many changes that I have noticed since she came to the PA Pre-K Counts program and the main thing is her independence. I have noticed she like to do a lot of things on her own.

Another thing I noticed was her social skills have gotten better. She is also learning how to adapt to change a lot easier and I just think that the program all together is a good experience and also great communication.

Taytum has grown so much this year. She continues to amaze me every day.

We have Mrs. Gerdich to thank for being an amazing teacher.

We love this PA Pre-K Counts program and are going to miss it next year when she goes to Kindergarten.

Kelsey is so luck to be a part of PA Pre-K Counts

Allegheny County, Stories

I think you are all doing a wonderful job. Kelsey is lucky to be a part of the PA pre-K Counts program. I love the pre-K program that my daughter is so lucky to be a part of. She loves school and looks forward to every single day!

Mrs. Gerdich and Mrs. Denne are amazing. Kelsey has learned how to play well with others, take turns and be respectful to others. They do so many fun, exciting and educational things with their class. They follow a routine and are very organized. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers and her pre-K class. Kelsey knows all her classmates by name and she enjoys playing and learning with all of them.

I am very confident that at the end of pre-K, she will be ready for kindergarten.

Thank you.

PA Pre-K Counts Brought My Daughter Out of Her Shell

February 9th, 2017
Allegheny County, Stories

This PA Pre-K Counts program has really brought my daughter out of her shy shell.

She is an only child for now, and being around the other kids every day and interacting with teacher and children away from me has been great for her. She started out not wanting to come to school and now she cannot wait to go.

She is learning so much and she is so proud to share what she has learned with us.

We could not be happier with her progress.

Leaps Ahead in PA Pre-K Counts

February 9th, 2017
Allegheny County, Stories

Having this PA Pre-K Counts program has allowed my son to begin to learn in a more structured fashion. At home he does not like to be as focused and independent, so the way the class is run allows a bit of both.

Being in the full time class now has put my son leaps ahead in certain areas in only a few short months. It amazes me when he shows the skills he has learned.

I cannot be more thankful for this program. Without it, my son would not be where he is as we would not have been able to put him in preschool. Thank you so much to the teachers and admins who make it possible.
