Inspired by the PA One Book

After reading the 2017 PA One Book selection, Daniels Finds a Poem, the children at Rose Tree Day School in Media, PA wrote their own poem with the help of Ms. G, their wonderful Guest Reader!

Poetry Is…

Poetry is like a funny word: ‘goo-goo ga-ga’

It is a snake slithering through the grass

It is a lion roaring on the plains

It is a spider spinning a web

It is the sunset glowing in the evening

It is lizards crawling across the ceiling

It is birds flying through the sunlight
